Can we have a tabbed chat system please ?

One of the worst things I hate about this game is the Chating system existing. Why is it based on a drop down multiselect menu ? Most good games have tabbed chat system : one tab for alliances, one tab for clans, one for whispers and pr. We can have separate tabs for radio and global as well. This way messages will not be lost easily like they are now. Especially like in UN games. This is a screenshot from lord of ultima which has a much improved and better chat system.

I think this is one change that is needed in this game.

Not important are you crazy. It is vital and quite frustrating without it. I am a developer, I know it is not a lot of change I am asking for . It is all implemented only. Just change the multiselect dropdown to a tabbed system.

My main problem with the chat is not saving the messages when switching from one room/chat to another, you can miss important messages like this.

There's nothing wrong with this at all, why not support it? It has my support.

I dont think this should be at the top of the list in what gets implemented, i see no problems with the current chat system except maybe there should be time stamps.

That is horrible :/ I don't want to have to switch between chat tabs. I want to be able to see what someone pr me while I am talking to clan mates...

Wow good point. I agree with Terminal. The current chat system is superior.

Tbh it would be cool if we could have a setting where we use chat settings, whether we want tabbed chats or the way chat is now. I don't know just saying.

Simple solution there are a few options all, room, game, cln, private, global, help and radio. You select which chat you want to see by click on their tab they glow a different colour from the rest and you switch to the "All" tab to see the chats that you selected. Later when you want to separate the messages according their chat channel you simply click the tab.
