Rare Units and Strategy Perks

Hey all,
Does anyone know if strategy perks apply to rare units of the same type (i.e. guerilla warfare to forest brothers, sky menace to fighters, etc.) ?

Ok ok, definition on Sky menace - advanced bombers and stealths at the cost of weaker land units...did you see fighters there?

Guerilla Warfare - advanced Militia and cheaper marines at the cost of weaker tanks and infantry... did you see Forest brothers there?

No need to be rude, that was a valid question. The answer is correct though, rare units are not affected - unless the strategy bonus applies to all units (like in Lucky Bastard / Iron Fist / Blitzkrieg)
