K here's what happened.
It looks like you cloned another map then deleted all the borders in order to redraw new borders. All the previously deleted borders still appear. This is most likely a caching issue and the borders aren't there. If clearing cookies and cache didn't work, then you need to wait a few days for the game itself to update with the new borders.

Generally when you delete borders you need to wait a few days for them to be gone from your map and not show up anymore. So just check back in a week.

Most times I find a new background and this thing still happens, even when months go by. Meso also gave me the background of the OG map, still happening for that one, multiple versions of that one and its too small as well(So makes no sense to use it anyway imo)
