I dont know if this is a bug or a feature, but I noticed you lose if your ally holds your capital for 2 turns too (e.g. if an enemy takes it and then an ally retakes it for you) I know we dont allys to do all the work, but sometimes especially early on you dont have any units left and reinforcements take more than 2 turns...so you might want to give more time to retake from an ally than from an enemy?
