After creating several maps and loosing some of the image-files, I am kinda lost. It is possible to save No-Go's and they will also be seen in the editor, but in the actual match no one even knows if the way is passable or not. They won't be shown ingame, being kind of a loss of fun whilst playing. Not being able to download the map // edit the image, some mappers would be stuck creating a balanced map with an great experience... So it would be awesome to implement a feature to show these areas in the actual match.

Would be great to have this. There are several ways around this deficit. Some of them are: (1) use background image and draw the no-go areas in it (before drawing them in AW map editor); (2) draw actual countries (country) of the shape of the no-go areas, copy paste them and place them over each other and make the copy a no-go area, make scenario of the map and define the countries that were used as base for no-go areas as inactive; (3) if you have drawn no-go areas already, take SS of map from editor / preview and make overlay in image editor and draw hem on new background image (this is not suggested because of extra-work); (4) if you have drawn no-go areas already, draw countries overlaying the no-go areas and use step (2).

If you draw the country borders around the nogo areas, meaning nogo areas are never included inside a countries borders, when done and in game the nogo areas will look like a country without a name or cities. I did a map with mountains and ranges, I only defined one of these areas like that, the rest are, as one could say, hidden. But the map is very topographical, so the color contrast between lowlands and mountains is distinguishable, and makes it easier to see what is what.
