New Strategy - Economic Boom

I thought of this idea after playing several world games, where a wealthy player, id est, a player holding China, America, India or Europe, was funding their ally's wars abroad.

This strategy would allow for a wealthy country to generate greater income at the expensive of weaker units.

Whereas the strategy will be called "Economic Boom" (the "Strategy).
Whereas the Strategy will only be available for Premium Users.
Whereas a player using "Economic Boom" will have increased income from all countries and cities by 25% (1 x 1.25) and an increased whole country bonus by 50% (1 x 1.5), collectively (the "Bonus").
Whereas a player using "Economic Boom" units' defence will be decreased by 1 (-1) (the "Nerf").
Whereas together the Bonus and the Nerf will nullify any over powered advantage higher income, guaranteed by the Strategy, would have over the other At War strategies.
Whereas for the Strategy to be used most effectively, the player must work as part of a team to fund allies and proxy wars.

I believe this strategy, or a strategy based on similar principals, would make for an interesting team dynamic in World games. It would allow for poorer neighbours to be more successful fighting against wealthier, more powerful foes. For example; America could fund an African ally to fight Europe, or Europe could fund South East Asia and Australia to fight China and India. It would make poorer countries less predictable and would necessitate a greater understanding of player's strategies and alliances. Think of it as the opposite of Imperialism. The user's defence nerf makes holding those cities and countries more difficult and require more infantry or militia. Team work is key in order to exploit this strategy to its fullest potential.

I think just -1 def wouldn't be nerf enough since this guy could still spam offensive units, so the best defence would be a strong attack.

Perhap -1 def, and -1 range then. I feel nerfing the attack would be a bit much. -1 range would really restrict a player's offensive capabilities. The defence nerf in blitzkrieg i think makes the strategy useless, so maybe I'm just jaded.

Makes blitz useless in short distance, since you can be attacked easier by lower range units. In bigger maps it can be strong if you manage to attack first. -1 def can be easily overcome by walling... -1 range is tougher though since it has more money, he should be able to spam AT i guess... still, i'm not sure what would be "a fair nerf".

Too op. I don't like strats that involve boosting economy or nerfing all units costs. I mean yeah my most played strat is imperialist since its OP on big maps which I like to play. Its so OP its sickening. So I play it until they remove it.

I think there is an idea there though. What about -1hp and -1def. that would be a huge nerf. Remember though, all he has is more money as his advantage.

Look at imperialism; -30 gold per unit makes infantry stupid cheap. Just huge stacks of infantry can win it for you.

There is only one strat that does that.

Your strategy would be Imperialist 2.0, a different way of spamming units it seems. But in this case, it doesn't matter if you have low income or not (since it's boosted), you'll be able to spam offensive units unlike with imperialist when you have low income

Maybe the fairer nerf would be a -2 HP, just the opposite to IF.
