Why is there Kosovo on the map, but no South Ossetia and Abkhazia?

I am perfectly ok with it, I am tired of paying taxes which go as a tribute to those barbarian Chechens, who buy guns and build mosques on those money instead of improving infrastructure.

Unfortunately, neither you, I or the developers are the UN or can determine if a country is legitimate. Kosovo may not be recognized by the UN, but that doesn't make it an "illegal" state (illegal according to which laws, exactly?). 77 countries recognize it, and that's enough to grant a portion of legitimacy.

Neither are South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Therefore - both are "illegitimate", but at least Kosovo has fairly wide support.

And just to note, if the Russian Federation really gave a shit about saving the Ossetian people, they'd make the whole of Ossetia independent (they'd cede the North, which would never happen) and wouldn't make Russian an official language in the "independent" South Ossetia nor write its constitution. Russia is just as evil as America... as long as there are border disputes near it and so on.

Funny thing, but Osetians do not protest against it. They are perfectly ok with Russia and Russian language, while Kosovars prefer Albanian over Serbian. It's just a matter of taste.
Also, I agree that Russia is evil, I'm, just interested, by what principles Kosovo is on the map, and those two republics are not.

As you can see, this is false, as only a handful of countries support the legitimacy of Abkhazia and South Ossetia while many more countries, some of which are not aligned particularly with the US are actually in support of Kosovo.

Learn to differ real world from a game one.
It is obvious, that world is changing constantly, and borders are moving by some sad people everyday, it's just, in almoust all cases, noone gives a shit about those people.
BUT
sometimes those movements is noticed by others and politics begin.
