Disconnect made me loose 4.5 hours of my life

Sigh, I need to vent. Recently some of the high ranks like learster, desu and others have sought to the world games a bit by actively participating in a few once they had the chance.It had been a while since I could enjoy a world game due to those silly players who always change the settings.Today however was a pleasant surprise and I thought what a blessing, at least it started of that way. All the players were respect ful and played the game without trying to take advantage of the settings(kudos to all for that). After all the dust had settled china who had beaten other rivals by some nice stealth attacks was my last obstacle to victory. At this point he had controlled asia an northern EU, rusia etc and had some small presence in central eu. After pushing him out of EU and seizing control of india and with victory imminent...... DISCONNECT ... I was about to rake in about 4000 sp and had spent the better part of 5hrs to do so.... I have finally managed to reconnect to make this post, think I am calling it an early day today, atwar has depressed me lol. Ok vent over .

Was it another server crash?

You already lost 4.5 hours of your life by playing the Game, duh.

I know that feel, this is why I don't play world games. They require too much time.
If you want SP, you can join an UN/LoN Game, pick UN2 and troll. Wallfuck everyone and kill the generals with your op planes. That's what I did and then everyone raged and left and I got 1.1k SP when it finished (4 turns) If they kick you, make one.

Or, you can play The Hexagon with 1min turns

encouraging trolling is not cool especially in un or lon or any scenario/map for that matter Plus it can be considered as farming if one do

I checked his game history. looks like winning a 11 turn hexagon game earns you 650-800 SP. You can rake in more SP than UN for godsakes.

I talked to Spart, he said it is totally fine if it's just a map to play quick games, and it's true.
Europe gives exactly the same if you play 1min turns *cough* try playing with 10 players, you will shit bricks at that easy 3k *cough*. The problem is, some people complain and leave because 1minute "is not enough". Time shouldn't be a factor on deciding wether a map should be banned or not. If you look at UN for example, it has extra cities everywhere, 2k income for every country, 20k starting funds, extra cities, and a general per country.

Hexagon can earn you alot in quick time because it's played FFA with 1 minute turns game end option at 10 turns ...yeah it's alot but i dont think it would be much different if players did a europe game 1 minute turns with game end option at 10 turns. Perhapse im wrong maybe :/

Lol, I jsut saw all these comments . Haha .. I am over that a long time now, I was just frustrated that day because I took my free time to play this world game, and was most pleased by the result, a nice 4k SP all mine since I allied no one. Them bam.. dc lol .. Seems that server has been fixed recently anyway .. Cheers all.:)
