"Fix map maker" is too much of a generalization, I think only a few certain aspects of it need to be prioritized in the map editor
For example
-Make buildings actually create-able in the editor
-Change unit stats restrictions or revamp stats restrictions (where it stands right now it's hard to integrate certain strategies into maps cause you have to resort to making a unit "Unit: other" which doesn't apply to any strategies due to the restrictions on unit stats)
-Fix random transparent borders when you create a border. For some reason when you create a border it's automatically transparent and not visible unless you re-upload the map. (I personally prefer transparent borders but I think it should be an option only)
-ADD NEUTRAL EVENTS BACK TO THE SCENARIO EDITOR: For gods sake I don't know why this was left out of the scenario editor, but there should be an option to add events to neutrals instead of regular players, this is a MAJOR reason why the html5 editor is lacking in comparison to the silverlight one
-Delete map: It's impossible to delete maps right now and I have like 10 different maps with random names(I wanted to reserve the game name for the finished product) because they're maps I can't use and I can't change their backgrounds to a working one so i just wanted to end up removing but deleting html5 maps isn't an option
-Color slider in scenario editor: Change the slider's default settings:

Where I highlighted the 1 in this color code, it should NOT be 1 by default. The 1 in this is what causes every html5 scenario to have horribly hideous and bright colors when it's hosted and it's abysmal to look at.

The default setting should be like this image above, it should be 0.5 instead of 1. The 0.5 in the color code makes it actually a tolerable color when hosted. Most scenario makers don't know this and use default opacity causing the map to look awful and the colors to be hideously lighter than they should be.
I think these are the map maker's major faults that should be prioritized more than anything else.

Nah, there's actually a lot more I haven't even talked about that could be tackled like: "ghost borders", how commander units in the editor are worthless and doesn't even give same buffs as general(it only gives air buffs), deleting borders without having to delete the country first(so you can keep cities, and income intact), the bug where borders shift when you zoom in/out. Etc
There's so many issues with it, I feel it'd take some time weeding out the bugs that time would be taken away from other updates from the game. If the ones I listed were hit first people wouldn't constantly complain about it in forums

Priority should be bringing back old maps that are broken. Like 2nd Punic War, Return of the King etc.
As long as the pool of good playable maps keeps decreasing due to glitches that make it literally unhostable, atwar loses ever more of its value and quality.

Mapmaker is top priority, but i'd say the undo button is such a drastic need in this game, for years, that its close to tie with mapmaker. Those 2 should be top priority. Right below that bugs should as well.
