Positive and Negative Bonus

My english is not very good but I will try to explain my question.

There are Positive and Negative bonus to units. This is Ok.

But, if i want to make a "Trench" for DEFENDING against "Foot Soldiers", I need to go to the "Foot Soldier" and put -10 bonus against "Trench", This is ok, right? So, the prerogative above about TRENCH IS GOOD DEFENDING is ok, right?

BUT,

If i need to make a unit "Javelin Anti-Tank" to "hunt" "Veihcles", or saying in other world, "Javelin" is good ATTACKING "Veichles", I need to go to the "Javelin Anti-Tank" and add some POSITIVE BONUS against "Veichles"? It's right, ok?

BUT,

A question, now:

If I put positive bonus in the "Javelin Anti-Tank" unit against "veihcles", and put negative bonus in the "Veichles" against "Javelin Anti-Tank", I'm duplicating the bonus? So, the positive bonus is being added to the negative bonus and duplicating the bonus REDUNDANTLY(and unnecessarily) or the bonus is being duplicated?

Yes, if you put "+1" into "Tank 1" against "Tank 2" then put "-1" into "Tank 2" against "Tank 1" it doubles...So now "Tank 2" is 2 times weaker because you added "+1" and "-1"

If you want "Tank 1" good at defending against a unit then put "+1" if you want "Tank 1" to be weak against a unit then put "-1" That's it. Only put it into one unit, not two or it doubles the effect.
