So, I was thinking. Coalitions aren't permanent by any means. So why disable the ability to send cln invites to people who are already in a coalition? Currently if you're in a coalition you're off-limits to invite unless you want to talk to them personally and try to tempt them to leave. I think allowing invites, regardless of current cln status, would be a great addition to have. It would encourage/tempt people to switch coalitions more often. Which would be a good thing for the community, making it more volatile. Also maybe, just maybe, the same people wouldn't stay in the same cln forever. It would encourage recruitment from other coalitions, giving a new/more convenient edge of competition between coalitions for members. It would also make the "3 day" rule for switching coalitions easier to deal with. People wouldn't have to leave their current coalition and hope for a good invite to come their way. Instead they would be able to see their options at all times. I think this would be a good addition to allow. Post if you agree, disagree or have any comments/reactions in general.

Have the invites FROM a coalition capped at 10-15 so someone doesn't invite all of aw at once. Good idea.

Just to clarify though, if you invite a member to your coalition without knowing he isn't loyal, well...yeah...

I don't see anything wrong with the idea, but I do get a suspicion that SRB just wants this to steal more of the best players.

I agree with you Houdini. And the player should not receive more than one invite per coalition either.

I sort of like this, but sometimes it could just make it worse for the coalition that the player has left. Say some sort of amazing player is in a clan. He gets a invitation from byzantia [;)] and the player joins them. Now this clan is doomed ,since the guy was the only person who could attract other players, now this player is gone the clan has no real base to stay on. You see what i mean? But i like the idea, since it does bring recruitment, and anyway to bring recruitment to a clan is ok with me

Well, that's the point - you have to inspire loyalty. It's no different from what we have now - the good player could just as well be talked into leaving.
