Turn off auto link in chat

With the amount of malicious links being sent via private and public chat, can automatic links be disabled so that instead of accidentally clicking links in chat; you'd have to paste it in your browser window.

But what about links that you actually want to just click and open them?
---- Don't ever look down on someone unless you're helping him up. Don't ever treat someone else the way you wouldn't want others to treat you. We're all people.

Sure for forum posts and messages from users on your friends list but not for all chat messages. This is why Steam viruses can spread quickly, because phishing links can just be clicked to open in chat.
