For the first time we release moderator statistics. Last summer we already presented them to the ATN team, but they never made it public. For the last 2 years i've been doing the statistics. That means how much mutes/warnings/kicks all moderators give in game. So bans are not in this overview. Good to notice is that we have LESS warnings/mutes/kicks in 2013 then we had in 2012. And that even though we had more active moderators in 2013 and more active players. Anyway; here are the stats:

Any questions? Post below. We will not publish the 'problem players' list, and we do not publish the stats per moderator. So you don't have to ask that

True. But the main reason for this is that 'problem players' are registered since late 2012, and will be muted directly. Whilst 'first offenders' always get a warning.

What do kicks refere too?

Yeah, i already got the same question in game. Moderators can also kick players, as you can see we don't often use it. Mostly players get kicked when they get banned or if we need to kick them from a game (fe. when someone is SP farming, he won't get any SP when kicked).

I think for a real conclusion you'd need the amout of players playing often at the time and maybe how many players play long or play not so long

The statistics are lower, yes, but do they mean a better community? At the moment, I feel like Mods are acting terribly; Letting spam fill the forums, yet gloat about having less in-game work? I personally don't care how many mutes/bans you give out if they're just and follow the rules, what I do care about is that the rules are followed and upheld by all of you. That being said, there are many current issues with the forum and spam that have not been addressed, as well as in-game spam that goes untreated. It is good that you are proud of lower statistics (Which, coming from a Senior Moderator as yourself, probably means something well), but I would much rather you and your team focus on cleaning up the site, and restructuring your penalty system to incorporate moderation of player punishment (IE: Treat players how they should be treated, depending on their personality, rules broken, and knowledge of what they've done/punishment to be taken) instead of the current "This man broke this rule! He is of the B&. This guy breaks them every day! But he's a breddy cool guy."

Not trying to be an insulting post, but the point needs to go across. Please, only intelligent conversation in reply to this post, please.

there are many current issues with the forum and spam

Just in case you did not now it already: At the very top right hand corner of every topic you can find a button 'REPORT TO MODS'. Just a few people use it, but it helps alot with spam and other forum issues.

In general I can say that the mod statistics were very helpful to keep an overview and to keep track of trouble players. Some trouble players completely stopped breaking rules or acting up but with some others it got worse and worse up until a ban. The majority gets aware of their misbehaviour and tries to calm down and get in line more or less.

In my experience, reporting anything is usually ignored are rejected, which is why I don't bother with it anymore. Especially with the forums: There a few mods who like these kind of threads that are spam, and will not delete them.

I'm not sure what you refer to as "Trouble Players", as the only ones I've seen on AW 3.0 are the ones who are buddy-buddy with the mods, and consistently banter [global], [room], and the forums with mind-numbing drivel.

Yes there needs to be a crackdown, but not going as far as to mute /pr

Is this sarcasm or am I actually the only one who does uses it? xD

It would be nice to see more people use it instead of them posting in the thread "This should be moved to (random forum)" and such.

Literally, around 90% of the ones we get are from you. LDK was the only other one I saw using it frequently before he left.
