Japanese and Chinese use the same character. And no, you can't understand English from UK if you are from the US. But you are from Spain and what would you know. Basically, it's like how Spanish people can't understand the same language as Mexicans because Mexicans speak MEXICAN and Spanish speak SPANISH.
On the contrary, Japanese and Chinese don't have the same characters. Look it up yourself... And yeah, i can understand Mexican in the same way you can clearly understand uk players in this game...
