I disagree. China tends to play long game when it comes to these things. While they have incentive to get involved in Syria for oil (they did have facilities in government controlled areas but have recently lost them), I don't see them ferrying troops, weapons, supplies, etc. over. They are much more concerned with the South China Sea. Furthermore, with changes coming to the politburo and other government post, Xi is looking to cement his hold. His faction does not have complete control although it looks like he will be able to amass more support during the changes coming, The issue with these kinds of governments with illiberal democratic procedures or lack of transparency is much of the government work is done behind closed doors so we can only really speculate.

Now Russia joined with 20 planes to bomb terrorist facilities so they don't spread, but still not enough to defeat them. I expect China will send 500,000 troops in few years and end it, by that time both sides will be exhausted. Point is; when China arrive, they won't leave, and they won't make same mistakes like Americans 10 years ago. They will create bases, factories, power stations, fund MidEast states, supply their militaries. They'll earn Arab support and they will probably make a better deal for Saudi Arabia than America could ever offer thus completing the domination of West Asia.

China is the next superpower, and for the sake of balance i would offer peace and alliance between Russia and America but we all know Americans would not even take in consideration such thing because of their arrogance and feeling of exceptionality. They still believe there is a chance for them to rule the world.

We have WW3 in middleeast, Usa,Russia,UK ... and another strong country picked middleeast for Ww3 it is like cold war but i think it is will be more big country is will try new weapon and it is war is making great income for usa, + u are right china is new superpower probably and china will help russia in middleeast.

That's why i said they won't make same mistake as America 10 years ago: China can send 500,000 troops, defeat ISIS and then swiftly withdraw, leaving only military instructors and guards to train Arab militiaries to defend against new potential terrorists. Invasion and war can last 6 months instead 10 years. Also they will use Communist techniques to restore order and peace in MidEast; communicating with the local population, rewarding for spying and giving information about terrorist whereabouts which will force terrorists to hide in the deserts and mountains away from the villages and cities as if they show up townfolks will report them.

Also, if they build little infrastructure, power stations and industry they will earn local support and thus prolong their stay in the region. That will cost few million dollars which mean China can afford.

Communist Party of China evolved since Mao and now they don't have leaders and crisis like other communist parties have or had. Now they are more about planning than choosing leaders so they don't have a need to 'cement hold' 'create factions' and interest groups, because they all have same goal but different means to achieve it; that's why they plan and vote. The worse situation is when you have many factions each have different goal, then you're screwed.

I live near travnik, not in it, the part where i live is mostly croatian but we are surrounded by muslims.

Travnik before the war wasnt bosniak, the demographics were about 50:50 before 1992 when all croatians were forced to flee across vlasic mountain.

By 1993 muslims aided by mujahideens encircled us in the valley and attacked from all sides in july, if the defences didnt hold chances are none of the 80 000+ croats in the valley would live.


Here are all mass killings on both side (note that ahmici were a retaliation after dozens of croats were killed all over the valley by mujahideens and bosniaks )

So I will tell you one thing, and you can easily check it. How many times did Bosnian government break lines arround croat's held enclaves in central Bosnia, and gave orders to back off because they thought they can not stop war crimes or feed people ?

I live near travnik, not in it, the part where i live is mostly croatian but we are surrounded by muslims.

Travnik before the war wasnt bosniak, the demographics were about 50:50 before 1992 when all croatians were forced to flee across vlasic mountain.

By 1993 muslims aided by mujahideens encircled us in the valley and attacked from all sides in july, if the defences didnt hold chances are none of the 80 000+ croats in the valley would live.


Here are all mass killings on both side (note that ahmici were a retaliation after dozens of croats were killed all over the valley by mujahideens and bosniaks )

I like how you take map from "herzegbosnia" forum, same forum whose members praise serb leaders who comited attrocities against Bosniaks

I also can't but notice how in that same map killing soldiers= killing civilians, but it does say mass killings.

I don't have time to put every city, but top of my head Vrbanja, Gornji Vakuf, old Vitez, Prozor.

CENTRAL BOSNIA

In Central Bosnia were killed 7 064 or 54,20% Bosniaks, 2 703 or 20,74% Croats, 1 443 ili 11% Serbs and 80 or 0,6% other etnicities. Biggest number (it means mass killings per town) Bosniak civilians were killed from - Prozor 196 Maglaj 180, Vitez 167, Zavidovići 136 Tešanj 133 Gornji Vakuf 117 and Bugojno 83 . Croats Vitez 91, Travnik 68 i Zenica 53. Serbs Zenica 55, Zavidovići 44 i Visoko 42.
