Why isn't greenland a controllable country?

Because it's population is non-existant, has virtually no military, and nobody wants it....except us of course
but I think if they added nuuk it would be cool, kind of as a american greenland.

The biggest Greenland 'city' has the population of 15000. Same goes for other places you mentioned. Normally we only tried to include cities with over 500000, although sometimes we even had to omit 1mln+ cities, when they were too close to each other (China!).

But.... it's another country.... another place to take over.....

Actualy if i'm corect..the americans used greenland in ww2 to spy on the germans or something of that manner...

Greanland was of vital inportance durring WWII because at that time air planes did not have the range they have now so they would fly to greenland refuel there then head over to iceland then europe.

Then will it be added once WWII scenarios happen?

Greenland is maybe low populated like hawaii's but also has important strategic place - between north america and europe

Amok, I propose greenland being added, as it is actualy an important area, and of good strategical value for so many kinds of units/strategys, I use it in world games as a place to store missles/bombers etc., it would be nice if it were a country.

I second this motion.

Planning to add Greenland and some islands in the next map revision (can't say when it will happen though).

Hence the reason I always set the join turn in europe games to 1.
in America/eurasia games:3
in world games: 5 or 10

Or just set money to 5k
so you just have to invade the cheaper countries to be "save"...
very usefull in east asia (see Japan)

Actually I believe Denmark owns it so yeah...

Fine, then how 'bout this: for 100 extra cities/scenarios/whole world, greenland has 1-2 cities that you get if you pick Denmark?

Or just make it its own country, sounds likea badass country if you ask me. Just put this on and defeat your enemies as almighty greenland!

I think Greenland should be added in the game,he have a good strategic place.

It must be really easy to defend somehow like hawaii in the pacific...
only submarines could be unexpected...

they may not be as good as Total War campains... but still they can be good!
