Quick idea regarding logging off

Hmmk, I've thought of posting this for quite a while, but now i might as well post it. Everyone knows when someone on your friends list or in your coalition logs on, the server sends a message stating that they're on. How about when said people log off, the server again sends a message stating that they have logged off? I'm thinking it shouldn't be that hard to implement. What does the community think?

Agreed, many times have I tried to talk someone when they just logged off or have not noticed they disconnected.

I suppose, although I have played shooter games when this can get pretty irritating and spam the chat box, especially if the game is buggering up.

It should only be implemented (a) as an option and the player should be able to turn notifications off and (b) only if it doesn't cause a noticeable increase in server load.
