News: Was trying PD Afghanistan when I found out an interesting trick that allows me to get extra money and skip one sea transport. Did quite well against one GW Asia player.
From the creator of "Mozambique beats cameroon" and "Germany recks Ukraine" comes... Afghanistan beats North Korea!?!?
In 5k Afghanistan will for sure beat NK or any other eastern asian country. But what if I tell you that Afghanistan can also beat those countries in 3k?
Some facts about Imperialist Afghanistan:
1. The fight will be in Burma or Thailand (if China is slow you can obtain Thailand before him in Turn 7 or 8). Then, after chinese push, it will be established in Bangladesh and that part of India for a long time of the game.
2. Moscow can be obtained in Turn 10 (depends on your focus).
3. Full india can be obtained in Turn 9 (depends on your focus).
4. Indian reinforcements is enough to hold Chinese front while expanding in russia and middle east.
5. Turn 8: Around 1.5k economy (one quarter of what GW NK would have). More reinforcements than NK, and this difference can only get bigger.
6. After getting Moscow, if China haven't pushed you out of Burma and or Bangladesh, then the game is kinda won for you. Get full middle east and start sending troops there. You will eventually outnumber chinese player in one or two weeks.

Well, after some recent lost against some players I've revised the data I had of the picks. Anyway, in most of those games I couldn't use middle east reinforcements but only Indian (106) against Asian (303), so I got outnumbered quite fast. An ideal fight for Afghanistan would'be to get all the western countries while still having the frontal war in Burma, since from here it is all GW/Imp spam until win. Nonetheless, getting Burma before Turn 6 (before North Korean players lands in Vietnam) is very hard and dependable of rolls, at least, in my current expansion. Getting Thailand is even sweeter due to the income there. I am current developing an expansion that allows me to expand faster to Indochina while not having any economical harm at all. Tried replacing Gulf with URAL income but this expansion requires a lot more work. The question "Can afghanistan beat north korea in 3k?" and the answer "yes, it can" aren't completely proven even though we already know that such possibility exist. Until an expansion / gameplay is found that seems balanced in this aspect, I'm sorry to say that GW North Korea (and no other strategy) is overpowered. But since some players still believes that Afghanistan have no chance against North Korea, I'll post the income and reinforcements of their respective zones. Eastern Asia at 100% = 6430 income, 303 reinforcements.- http://i.imgur.com/WqfbV2L.jpg India and ME at 100% = 6,394 income, 462 reinforcements - http://i.imgur.com/RYgfMT3.jpg Total: India and ME have 36 less income and 159 more reinforcements. But since syrian said that it doesn't matter because the economy grow fast, I've took the care to build the stats after 17 turns. Eastern Asia at Turn 17 = 9,845 income, 340 reinforcements - http://i.imgur.com/x5Mr5px.jpg India and ME at Turn 17 - 9,783 income, 518 reinforcements - http://i.imgur.com/OxZKZR4.jpg Results; India and ME have 62 less income and 178 more reinforcements The economy difference isn't that high due to the city population, which grows more in the ME and India than in Asia due to them having more cities.

dude i took full china and japan and reached burma in 7turns althought i lost turn 4 and the reins of it... you need million turn to take full of west while i use all my units at your front but you use them to expand you need time much of it and thats what you wont find i support that you make map for asia and make rare unit = field officer who posts marines and militias power and stealthed will be more fun and more defensive for militia stacks and the indian income which is 2k wont be yours to get the income you expect :/
