Strategy Unit order, and Custom Unit Arrangement

I think it would be good if there was an option for players to switch the unit order in the reinforcements panel, varying with the strategy.

For example, I use MoS, but all ground units are at the top. This option would make it so Infantry or Militia (whichever is not nerfed to that particular strategy) is always at the top, with all the units native to that strategy in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place.
So, if I chose SM, all air units and infantry would be at the top;
If I chose MoS, all stealth units would be at the top;
If GW, marines and militia, etc.

You get the idea, this way a person doesn't have to go to the bottom of the unit list to buy the units native to a strategy.


Players can also then choose specific unit orders for custom scenarios or maps with a lot of different units unique to that map, and save to use the arrangement the next time [he plays the map again.


An extended version of this would include customizable unit panels, meaning no matter what strategy I use, I have several preset unit orders that I set myself that I can select and use. Therefore, if I prefer a lot of bombers and aa guns (Ok, weird combo, but illustrates the point), I choose the preset order from my custom list I created a while ago with a name I made up, distinguishing it from all the others.


Think this would be a really good and productive feature to add, share your thoughts and opinions

(P.S. I guess it's kinda up to the admins, but I would hope this setting is available for all players, not just premiums...)

It may also be a nice option for map-makers to set the unit order for their map.

Well, when I wrote this, I was intending it to be available for everyone, but who knows? Admins might make it so.

Yes, if the option were implemented, it would hopefully have all the preset selections (including the default order, and to accommodate strategies), and would also allow a person to create his own custom unit orders, for player personalities.
