Is banning someone from dueling legal?

If you bann people you could be considered cheating, since it give you an unfair advantage to gain elo by banning people who could challenge you in elo season. I want your (atwarian) thought on this matter.

Interesting point, but without more structure, players will avoid other players, even if the ban list didn't exists. So making it illegal to ban fellow duelists wouldn't fix the problem, but this furthers the case for more structure regarding competitive game elements.

My opinion is that anyone can ban whoever he wants for whatever reason he wants and whenever he wants.
Yes in that way duel season will be less active and competitive but its only because there are max 10 players competting.
Another reason why I don't mind people banning others even for that reason(to win the season through an easy way) is that the mods can just disqualify him at the end of the season if they see the player had abused his ability to ban to win the season.
