Non of you even tried playing with buildings (except test version with new accounts, without any strat or upgrade), but some of you already started shitting on it (without even knowing how's that gonna work) and putting those thumbs downs.... You're being like some sentry clowns, you want everything, but in fact you want nothing. Deal with yourselves.

Also, don't be so idiotic...
We finally got something new, something is being worked and implemented to this game, be thankful on admin's spreading the gameplay possibilities and its very meaning. No, I'm not licking neither Ivan's, neither Amok's asshole, but I'm trying to be realistic and objective, at least here. It costs us nothing to try, but we can get very, very much.

This reminds me on realization of HTML5. Part of community couldn't stop shitting on it, 'We want Silveright version to stay forever' , 'HTML5 is shit' , 'This chat looks so ugly and it's so big' ........before they even tried playing on HTML5.
Now no one ever mentions Silveright (except mapmakers).
Same thing goes with this and I guess the same people are against buildings. Just stop trying to desecrate this too, becuase it will be implemented same as HTML5 was, same as new strategies will be and same as that fucking map editor will be (or not )





But..........................................................
as some kind of compromise, I suggest adding an option for enabling/disabling buildings in game, same as it is with strategies and upgrades, so everyone is satisfied.



If you want to play with buildings - play.
If you don't want to play with buildings - don't play.




One public support for this long-awaited work from Admins. Keep it going

If the buildings actually do get added

the question is will buildings be the default competitive setting

The competitive scene is stagnant and the meta needs a good shakeup imo so i'm all for this. What you're seeing is the typical reactionary response to change. We don't even know if itll be good or bad yet and people are already losing their minds. I think they should add them to the main game and let us play with them for a while. If the overall effect of the change is positive then we keep them. If negative then we either remove or add an enable/disable toggle. Most players around here don't know whats good for them. If you add a toggle button straight away buildings will probably never see use.

800 per building a huge cost.
Lets look at the one that boosts defense

Say you are imp turk, 800 can buy 26 extra inf to defend

That's easily 176 extra defense and 182 hp.

Whereas the building will only boost defense by 1. So you would need a shit load of units already defending to justify the building.

Your city would have the be attacked multiple times repeatedly for it to make up for the 26 inf

Honesty in the test servers i think they should give everyone max rank and premium for testing just my opinion, and on the building part i'm so hyped there working on the game again and i can not wait for building to be added adds a new aspects.

Tbh i doubt i will use buildings much in teamgames anyway.

West is better off funding east, turk is better off making tanks and ukraine has too few units to justify any building.

In duels i might, but only in lategame.

U forget that there is not only 3vs3 EU or Duel EU on this game.

Otherwise good idea i like the concept In my opinion u guys should add the possibility to hire field officer and air marshall, my the topic i created about that didn't convince anyone.

Although what Witch Doctor say is relevant ; why take a building when, for the same cost, u can have infantery, more protection and the ability to move ?

yes but how often do you need to defend against a 700 unit rush in world games anyway?
