Why did RP die out?

Where did all the players go? I used to like these. Was there a particular event causing this?

Toxicity was rampant and drove away the player base. Coupled with super clans farming lobbies and it stood no chance.

Also, RP is way too time consuming for the average player.

I can recall this was an issue yes. But it didn't stop them for making a new one over and over and over again. "remaaake".

People loved it. The UN games and World RP games were rampant. They didn't care it took ages, most got rogued within a few turns anyway.

All RP map makers got tired too perhaps? No more bans, meaning endless rogues?

Believe me it is hard to enforce these rules. So many people got to walk free since no one really takes screenshots of people breaking the rules and even then some people are friends with the mods.

To revive roleplay we need to give every player 50 starting cities with 10 reinforcements each, 999 income per city and 10 attack 10 hp 10 defense units at 10 cost

I cant read the rules written on any rp map haha too fuzzy

RP died because of the introduction of sp multiplier. Why would you waste time spamming unit, while knowing the fact that you only get a fraction of the sp when you fight them in battle.

Because there's no reason to play a small country, RP died when it turned into an scenario instead of a map with 5 picks like it used to be, now US doesn't start with almost no money and doesn't have to begin to take his country, instead it gets his whole country plus 50k funds to take all expansion of that little middle east country, why the fuck would anyone play the small countries, when you know you'll have 0 relevance? in the old RP you could fight 1 vs 1 against anyone with any country, since things like fighting in your own ground and spamming walls to slowly kill the giant stacks was a thing, and it was fun for the little country to hold US, but not anymore, garbage countries are not worth playing since you're nothing but filler, make a RP with europe, russia, US and chine and you'll get the same results of the current RP

Too many units for wall-spam and not enough sp to make it worthwhile anymore. It is no longer a rewarding experience so people leave all the time or go rogue
