WW1 Unironically THE most balanced scenario map too bad it is overplayed to death

Probably Tik Toks original ww2 before all the cancer tradelines were added, i really enjoyed that one anyway. Don't know if it was the best.

Are you asking which is objectively the best, or which was the best in relation to the era it was made in? If the latter, then most certainly Ultimate WW2, it set the standard for future mapmaking and is basically the progenitor of scenarios. But if we ignore the whens and the hows, then the question becomes a bit more difficult. Personally, I'd say Aetius and Pyrrhus' Wars of Religion takes the cake. It does have some balancing issues, but not bad enough to make the game unplayable, and honestly people overrate balance. Wars of Religion has a unique, intricate unit system (such as most factions actually having TWO infantry units), interesting frontlines, almost no scripting and overall movement and progression throughout the game. Reinf and income are intelligently placed in all the right places and the faction placement allows for fluid and interesting cooperation between players (I've played one too many scenarios that are basically three seperate 1v1s glued together). Its only true issue is that it needs 15 players and thus very rarely fills (because a WW1 will have certainly sucked away all scenario players by the time someone decides to host it)

Greek world is one of the nicest. If Talos would revive to balance a bit the price of units it would be top-played

Hands down Axis Renaissance 1948. The amount of creativity that went into it and how realistic it is compared to any other makes it the BEST ww2 scenario.

Id like to remake that type of map but i cant find a good high quality image of that region.
