Because u cant play competitive without general. Most players are students they can hardly pay for it and i dont think they will spend it that much for aw(maybe put an option to only buy general) . Competitive players dont train new people instead they argue with them like wd and you need to play thousands of games to get upgrades. So people of course will go to play scenarios or rp where they dont need a general or upgrade

If you do this you won't have any left since they all did it for the green shield lmao . Maybe you'll have 1 or 2 ppl left but that's it.
How I feel upon returning everytime to play ww2, pick Germany and get called names by people i never knew existed lmao. I agree about trystane tho, he's an autist, it's like he calls ppl names just to get a reply, "hey notice me im here". Nobody cares about him regardless.
