How to Effectively use the Rare Bomb Units?

You know; Non nuclear missiles, Suicide Bombers, VBIEDs... Those rare units with great attack but almost no health. The game description advices against using more than one in a single clash. I usually send one alongside my actual troops to stack wars and they sometimes help taking out 3-4 units at once but they seem pretty useless despite their attack stat. Is there a proper way to use them in the most effective way. Because they die mere one or two militias, infantry etc.

Well an afterwind can roll from 1-100 in attack
so lets say it rolled a 21, it would kill 3 infs, the 4th inf will attack the afterwind and kill it.

In stack bonuses its more likely to roll higher tho
