Simply put, there is nothing more infuriating than marching into someones territory, about to defeat them, only for the clock to run out, and the one with highest SP could win. (And I've had multiple occasions where the defense was vicious enough for that to happen) Now I understand there is a timing issue and a winner must be decided, so instead, could it be possible to allow everyone to "win" at the end of the timer, and the one with the highest SP gets their own SP, and half of the SP of everyone else, and 2nd and below (who are still alive) get to keep all of their SP? I believe it's a logical balance to a unreal defeat. Thanks for listening, and I'd appreciate any suggestions on how this could be tweaked if need be. (if this is the incorrect place/already covered, let me know)

Well, if you ask me, a better way to solve this "problem" is to implement some sort of overtime or sudden death. This is only if what you stated above occurs.

This has happened to me before too. I like the idea of a "sudden death" implement. It could bring more excitement to a game.

Actually, I love that idea! You could increase attack and lower defense as the overtime begins, forcing everyone to be more aggressive or falter. Or you could just make reinforcements stop completely when the turns are up, and its a matter of who can last longer with what they got.

I actually think the idea of stopping reinforcements is really in the spirit of a sudden death, but it should be an option and not a complete change of the current system because sometimes people set game length due to time constraints. Also someone could just stockpile hundreds of units in their capital, wait for time to run out and then just move them towards the opponents.

sorrehz for mega-resurrection I really like this idea. This has happened to me at least one time for sure, and probably multiple other times.

reinforcements stop completely when the turns are up, and its a matter of who can last longer with what they got. but i have a question... and what if the last enemy is in another continent and nobody has transports? i think it should be better if the player income turns 0. the range of units increases. and units no longer have taxes . with that situation you have to fight until you run out of money
