Battle of Cirta

Dictator Flaminius Pisentus & Gaius Julius (Envelopment)
(2 legion +3 veterans+ 8 command +1 reform)=17 strength
Jugurtha (Balanced)
(8 Armies)=8 strength
Battle Roll: 15+9-2=22
Result: Crushing Victory

Although heavily outnumbered, Pisentus is an excellent commander with many victories while Julius is a hardened commander in his own right serving in many famous battles. Not far from Cirta the Roman army was attacked by Jugurtha's forces.
Pisentus, in command of the cavalry and forming the rearguard, made contact with the enemy first.
He counter-attacked in close order and charged his cavalry by squadrons. Meanwhile, Gaius Julius formed the legionaries around him into battle lines and engaged Jugurtha's forces too. Hoping to score an easy victory, Jugurtha decided on a fient, and called out that he had just killed Gaius Julius. For a short while his lie was successful and the Romans were thrown into confusion, but Pisentus, who had returned from his own successful pursuit of the enemy, then threw his forces against Jugurtha rear led by Bocchus. Meanwhile, Julius had restored order to his troops and resumed his attack which routed them easily.

The Romans resumed their march on Cirta. When they approached the capital it surrendered to them unconditionally.
Jugurtha continued his war against Rome reverting to guerilla warfare, but unfortunately for Jugurtha he was killed by Bocchus, his Mauritanian retainer. As a reward, he is granted the puppet Kingdom of Mauretania and Numidia is split between him and Rome.

(2 provincial legions +2 legion+ + 3 veterans+ 3 command +1 reform)=14 strength
Perseus (Direct Charge)
8 armies+6 command =14 strength
Battle Roll: 16+3-2=17
Result: Victory

The first phase of the Macedonian campaign to isolate Illyria lasts for two months. Herius Quinticius placed 4,400 latins under Marcus Popillius(a relative of Laenas) to guard Lissus. Perseus marched into Illyria and offered rewards to the garrison if they surrendered, but the garrison responded by bombarding the Macedonian positions. The Macedonians then began to heavily bombard the fortress but this came to no effect. After becoming convinced that Lissus would not be taken, Perseus left 18,000 infantry and 5,000 cavalry under a certain Polemon and withdrew with his main army. He withdrew from the siege to Dyrrachium ( a city arguably under his own protection) where he pillaged the area in rage and to satisfy his soldiers.

Meanwhile. crossing a forgotten mountain road far east, Quinticius took the main army under his command and fell upon the Macedonian raiders with a great warcry and destroyed them before they could form up into a proper phalanx making them easy prey. An ignominious way for the mighty Macedonian army to fall. Perseus flees and regroups but his situation is very dire, the defeat has lost him his potential allies abroad and rome has regained its foothold in Epirus.

    Viriathus (Balanced)
    9+5 =14 strength
    Battle Roll: 6+2-2=6
    Result: Defeat

Viriathus, evidently extremely confident assembles his army in an open field along the coast near Valentia blocking Scipios path southwards.
Many of his forces are equipped with looted roman panoply as an imitation of cohorts with an Iberian flair.
Scipio and the legates consult, believing it to be a trap, for rarely did these iberians offer to a set piece battle so they decided to form up and engage.
Scipio, although old, decided to dismount and join his strengthened right flank. As the lines clashed the romans did win upon the right but became encircled as the center and left began to rout.
Scipio was surrounded, with his guards defending him to the last. A javelin strikes Scipio in the side and he dies not soon after from the mortal wound. Viriathus gains great prestige for defeating and killing a Cornelii, for even these barbarians know their name and believe them to be the highest tribe of Rome, and hail Viriathus as King. With this Rome is utterly routed from Hispania and abandons any pretense of control.

    Battle of Utica

Decimus Flaminius Pisentus (Flanking) Tactical counter
    (2 legions +5 veterans+ 4 command +1 reform)=17 strength
    Hanno (Envelopment)
    (9 armies)=9 strength
    Battle Roll: 10+7+3=20
    Result: Decisive Victory

As soon as Pisentus defeated the slaves in Sicily he received news from allies in the senate that Carthage, one of Rome's greatest enemies has started breaking the treaty that was signed with Rome, they started conquering the Numidian tribes and started receiving income from lucrative trade deals with the Seleucid, Pisentus decided to send 1 legion under Titus Acilius to restore stability in Rome, while he took most his veteran legions to march on Carthage.
Pisentus landed in near Utica, His good friend, Scipio provided him with fleets to fight the war against Carthage. Pisentus soon besieged of Uttica his forces were stronger and Uttica surrendered.
The next week news spread that he was about to march on Carthage and the Numidians joined him in the hopes of pillaging the the city. Pisentus finally started his march and met the Carthaginian army in Tunis, the army was bigger and mostly comprised off citizens of Carthage and Mercenaries, the army also had African War Elephants who were fairly untrained. Pisentus deployed his veteran legions on the right flank and behind them Numidian Cavarly and Tribesman, and placed his legions in the center and left flank, soon the Carthaginians attacked their plan was to envelop the Roman army and defeat it using raw numbers, as soon as Pisentus saw this he deployed the Numidians to encircle the enemies flank while the veteran legions charged, this broke the unexperienced Carthegenian and soon the army was routed.

Pisentus entered the city of carthage and ordered the city to be sacked and salted, its inhabitants sold, and everything of any worth take back to Rome, most of the Carthegenian Senate was captured and put in cages as Pisentus prepared for his eventual triumph in Rome. Some land was given to the Numidians for their contribution while most of it was under roman control.

    Battle Roll: 10+4-3=11
    Result: Stalemate

Eager for victory, Scipio pursued Viriathus southwards and westwards into the hill lands. For weeks he was harassed but finally cornered Viriathus' force at a hill in the territory of the Edetani tribe. The locals, fearing Viriathus and the romans refused to aid either side forcing Scipio to conduct costly scouting efforts on ways up the hill. Finally pathing a way forward he ordered Gaius Julius to march all the way around the other side of the hill and launch a flanking attack when he heard the trumpet from the main army. This flanking force was howevered discovered by the Lustiani and ambushed, 2 entire legions are routed but Julius makes it back alive. Exasperted, Scipio withdraws back to the coast to plot his next move.

    Battle of Syracuse

    (4 legion +5 veterans+ 6 command +1 reform)=26 strength
    Slaves (balanced
    (10 armies)=10 strength
    Battle Roll: 12+11+5
    Result: Crushing Victory

As soon as Dictator Pisentus landed in Sicily with his Master of Horse Porcius Carbo, he saw an island in despair, the farms were destroyed, villages were burned, statues of great men defiled by the rabble, Pisentus would make it his mission to punish the slaves, he started marching on Syracause, which was the supposed slave capital. his march was ruthless, crucifying all of those who opposed him, many slaves started laying down their arms, but Pisentus was clear, there would be no amnesty to any of the rebels, those who laid down their arms were also crucified, soon enough the path between Messena and Syracause was filled with crucified slaves, Decimus soon found himself infront of the gates of Syracause, the ancient and noble city defiled by the slaves, panic swept the city, the city was still well defended and Pisentus did not want any of his men to die, he wanted to minmise the losses, so he made a deal with the guards of the city, amnesty and money should they open the gates, knowing the dire situation, they did not refuse and at the dead of night let the romans in their city, Pisentus and a Legio Hispana marched inside the city, they were lightly armoured, not having any shields, but they were not needed, soon the legion was let loose Syracause, every suspected rebel was killed, every was men was to be killed, and women and children sold into slaver, such was the cost of trying to break away from the Republic, those that left the gates open were also crucified infront of the gate, the majority of the army stationed there was slain in their sleep, many tried to escape only a few did, as news got spread of this many rebels departed from Sicily or tried to hide to escape by returning to their former lives. Pisentus was satisfied with the result from his campaign in sicily, the losses were minimal and neglected, a genius move by Pisentus, now The Senate was assured that the slaves will never rebel again, but only time will tell.

Lucius Aemilius Paullus & Agrippa Furius Macrobius
    (3 legions +7 veterans+ 8 command +1 reform)=26 strength
    Battle Roll: 14+3 then 11-3
    Result: Victory

Paullus, eager for battle found the large Senate army first and launched sudden attack before the more green soldiers could wheel into formation. Led by Furius this nearly broke the Senate line if not for Gaius Julius bringing in reserves. Seeing Julius opposing the rebels also hurt morale. After a period of brutal fighting they fell back.

The next day Paullus marched his army out of his camp again and drew up his battle lines behind a ravine, he hoped to entice Fabius to try and encircle his position with his larger army while he kept Furius with his most elite forces that would punch a hole through such an encirclement. A storm then broke out and it rained for the better part of the day, Paullus finally decided that there was not going to be a battle and marched his army back to camp.

On seeing his enemy march off Julius advised Fabius to order his men to attack directly across the ravine. At the same time the wind began to shifted and the rain was driven into the Rebels faces as they turned in to meet the charge. Julius and Fabius' seizure of the initiative was a decisive move, their greater numbers overcame their adversaries by attrition and surprise. Paullus seeing his line falter looked towards the raining sky and whispered "In absentia lucis, Tenebrae vincunt", unsheathed his sword and fell upon it.

In a cunning ruse, Viriathus tasked some of his bravest men willing to martyr their lives to attack the roman camp, fight and then surrender to the romans.
Naturally, Flaminius pressed them for information and eventually turned to torture. Under duress these men "revealed" that Viriathus was going to launch a surprise attack upon Flaminius at night down the nearby valley. The Romans put them to death and prepared to ambush the ambushers, but they were in fact the ones who were ambushed as the tortured men did exactly what Viriathus commanded. Surrounded, Flaminius abandoned his spanish allies with his romans and fled to Rome.

Viriathus then slaughtered the rest, without pity, a stark message to the inhabitants that collaboration with the roman occupiers would not be tolerated.

People vote like I do this turn. For the rest of the mid-republic, my faction leader will be nominated and voted rome consul, if he can't be rome consul that turn due to no reelection - He shall be nominated and voted as censor and give two concessions in that turn in which he is censor. If he can't be censor or there is not enough concessions, he shall be automatically appointed /nominated dictator for that turn unless there is both 4 or more active wars and my senator is an elder. If dictatorship isn't doable either - if none of the above happens - extend the honor deal +1 turn after the end of the mid-republic.

If he ends up as field consul and the switch is rejected by the rome consul, extend honor deal +2 turns after the end of mid-republic.

    Turns of the deal accomulate.

Also for the duration of this deal (mid republic + agreggate) i can't be sent to provinces without my consent. I also wish to decide the fate of Empi's faction if he loses.

I donate all my money both in hand and in bank to Rome.

Accept but remove anything about consul switching or power (is against rules), how you roll rome consul is how it is. Also remove any adding turns to deal (is connected to that).
