We are trying to take some cool Alpha screenshots and gameplay video for the new epic trailer, but we need some well-populated games for this.
The idea is to enter a game en masse, set turn time to 1-2 minutes, rapidly expand within the first 15 turns, then set off a lot of battles and change the turn time to 5 minutes, so we could capture a video properly.
We are going to do this tomorrow (Thursday) evening. Everyone is welcome - the more, the merrier. Here's the schedule (UK time, please convert to local time here):
19:00 - Space v1.2
19:30 - A Song Of Ice And Fire
20:00 - Greek World
20:30 - Default map
These four maps were chosen mostly for being photogenic/representative. No hard feelings if yours wasn't chosen.
As part of the event we will also chat with the players (as much as we can, being also busy with video capturing) and test for any remaining bugs.

It's quite scary the internet always knows exactly where you are. :O Except when you're skilled enough to hide it, of course... I sure wasn't expecting it to show the time in the city I'm actually in rather than the time zone. Luckily that's quite a good time, so sign me up.

Yes, it was lots of fun. How about making something like that a bit more regularly? As in, each season you guys choose a custom map you like and make an event. You have made this amazing game after all, you should play it a bit, too.
